Terms of Service

1. Overview

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the AllFamilyOffices website at allfamilyoffices.com and the purchase of digital data products offered by AllFamilyOffices ("we", "us"). By using our website or purchasing our products, you agree to these Terms.

Our products are designed for and sold exclusively to businesses and professional users (B2B). By purchasing, you confirm that you are acting in a professional or business capacity and not as a private consumer.

2. Products and Services

AllFamilyOffices provides digital data products, including family office contact databases, delivered as downloadable files (Excel, CSV). Products are digital goods delivered electronically after payment via download link sent by email.

We also sell annual subscriptions to our online platform on our pricing page. Subscription access is provided through our web application at app.allfamilyoffices.com.

3. Purchases and Payment

• Commercial terms are shown during checkout and include applicable taxes where required.
• Payment is processed securely by Stripe, Inc. We do not store your payment details.
• Upon successful payment, you will receive a download link via email.
• Subscriptions are billed annually in advance and renew automatically. Section 7.2 sets out renewal, cancellation and refund terms for subscriptions.
• Each data download grants a single-user, non-transferable license to use the data for your internal business purposes.

4. License and Permitted Use

When you purchase a data product, you receive a limited, non-exclusive license to:

• Use the data for your internal business operations, including outreach, research, and analysis.
• Store the data within your organization's CRM or internal systems.

You may not:

• Resell, redistribute, sublicense, or share the data with third parties.
• Publish the data publicly or make it available for download.
• Use the data for illegal purposes, including spam or unsolicited bulk communication that violates applicable laws (CAN-SPAM, GDPR, etc.).

5. Confidentiality

The data products you purchase contain proprietary information compiled by AllFamilyOffices. You agree to treat the data as confidential and to implement reasonable security measures to prevent unauthorized access or disclosure.

6. Data Protection Compliance

You are responsible for using the purchased data in compliance with all applicable data protection laws, including the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (nDSG). You must ensure you have a lawful basis for any outreach or communication with individuals listed in our databases.

7. Refund and Cancellation Policy

This section covers one-time data downloads and annual subscriptions. Please read it before you buy. At checkout you confirm that you have read it.

7.1 Data downloads: all sales are final

Data downloads cannot be refunded once delivered. A download counts as delivered when the download link has been sent to the email address you entered at checkout, or when the file has been accessed for the first time, whichever happens first.

A database is a digital file. Once it has been delivered it cannot be returned, and we cannot confirm that copies have been deleted. This is standard for B2B data products. It is also why we ask you to check the free sample and the data completeness table before you buy (see 7.3).

7.2 Subscriptions: annual, charged upfront, cancel anytime

• Subscriptions are annual. The full year is charged upfront at the start of each subscription period.
• Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each annual period unless you cancel before the renewal date.
• You can cancel at any time by emailing info@allfamilyoffices.com from the email address on the account, or through your account in the app. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for. Your access continues until then.
• We do not refund the unused part of a subscription period. There are no pro-rata refunds.
• If you asked us to cancel before the renewal date and were still charged for the renewal, we refund that renewal charge in full.
• Duplicate or erroneous charges are refunded in full. Email us with the invoice number.

7.3 Before you buy

• Request the free sample to see real records with masked contact details.
• Check the data completeness table and field list on each product page. They state record counts and how many records carry each field.
• Ask us first. Email info@allfamilyoffices.com with questions about coverage, format or fit. We answer before you pay.

7.4 Technical issues

If a download link does not work, a file is corrupted, or a file is missing data that the product page promised, email info@allfamilyoffices.com. We re-send links and replace files promptly. Technical delivery problems are fixed, not refunded.

7.5 Discrepancies

If you believe there is a significant difference between what was advertised and what was delivered, email us with specific details: which records, which fields, and what you expected. We review every such case individually. Section 8 explains that we do not guarantee 100% accuracy of contact data.

7.6 Chargebacks

Please contact us before raising a dispute with your card issuer. Most problems are fixed within one business day. If a dispute is raised, we respond with our delivery, access and consent records, including the time you accepted these Terms at checkout and the download or login activity on your order.

8. Data Accuracy

We make reasonable efforts to ensure the accuracy and freshness of our data. Contact records are verified against publicly available business registries and professional directories. However, we do not guarantee 100% accuracy, as business contact information changes over time.

9. Intellectual Property

The AllFamilyOffices website, brand, design, and proprietary data compilation methodology are owned by AllFamilyOffices. You may not copy, reproduce, or create derivative works of our website or brand materials without written permission.

10. Termination and Data Deletion

We may terminate your license if you breach these Terms, including unauthorized redistribution, resale, or use of the data in violation of applicable laws. Upon termination, you must permanently delete all copies of the purchased data within 30 days and confirm deletion in writing upon request.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AllFamilyOffices shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our products or services. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific product in question.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Switzerland. Any disputes shall be resolved in the competent courts at our registered office in Switzerland.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised date. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
